TEF20 Restoration

'We finally got the engine running after some oil changes, a new dynamo and my tech geek pal refurbished the injection pump!
It was still very smokey so it gave us the excuse to take the head off! I had bought the upper gasket set thinking at best that's all it would need and a clean up. However after an inspection of the liners once the sump was off it was agreed that liners, pistons and rings would also be needed! Yesterday I removed the front axle and now I'm waiting on engine lift to get it mounted onto engine stand to do above work'
