So today we went away to Lancaster to collect part of a French Ferguson to help with our restoration. We will be using this to fit the engine to, after we’ve rebuilt it!
We are now 1 giant leap closer to having a tractor to raise money with, we need a lot more parts but are slowly getting there.

We have today had a large amount of new engine parts and body panels donated by one of our main suppliers of parts!
Anglo Agriparts very kindly donated us the parts to help along with our restoration for charity. These parts will come in very handy to make the engine look and run it’s very best!

Today this happened!, we finally had a few hours of the shed being empty and the weather holding up, so in came the backend and wire brushes where away.
We have got first and second coat primer onto the rear end of the tractor, fitted he seat spring and new seat ( donated by Anglo Agriparts ) and getting things ready for first coat grey!

Today we finally got round to working on the Charity tractor. With help from one of my friends we got the gearbox all back together and fitted and the new 6v engine fitted also.
We have replaced all gearbox seals when it was out, gave the hydraulic pump a check over and a good clean. Fitted a brand new thrust bearing and clutch, kindly donated by ANGLO AGRIPARTS to the engine and gearbox and got it all together without little fuss.
Next job will be to get all the Tractor painted in red oxide primer and then to look like a tractor again! Easier said than done.
