A gasket is a mechanical seal which fills the space between two or more surface preventing leakage of liquids and gases between the component parts. The head gasket sits between the engine block and cylinder head. It is vital to seal the combustion chamber allowing your engine to build the proper compression and contain exhaust gases both of which aid in maintaining the efficiency of your engine.  The gasket keeps coolant and oil out of the combustion chamber while under compression and fill unnecessary space where imperfect surfaces on machine parts don’t form a complete seal.

Air, Oil, Fuel Filters For Your Tractor

Air filters are designed to prevent debris from entering the engine's cylinders, where it would cause mechanical wear and oil contamination. Without an air filter in place, the engine may also be sucking dirt and debris in at the same time. This can cause damage to internal engine parts, such as valves, pistons and cylinder walls.

We asked our customers which was the greatest tractor model of all time. Here are the results.

Testing A Dynamo

Tractor dynamos convert external power via a belt to electrical power. They are relatively efficient, possibly between 80 and 90%. A dynamo outputting 14 volts and 30 amps is producing 420 watts. At 90% efficiency this would require 420/.9 or 467 watts from the engine… a little over 0.6 hp.

When a belt squeals it is slipping because it cannot transmit this power. A cold engine just started has discharged the battery and the dynamo at this point is asked to provide its maximum output, often with a damp belt and pulleys.

Tractor World Show 2018 - Newbury

Anglo Agriparts Team were delighted to join The International Harvester Club of GB on their stand at this years Tractor World Show at Newbury Showground.

Axle Hub Carriers

Our latest Axle Hub Carriers and Swivel Housing for modern & vintage tractors. One of the most important tractor part components are the axle hubs and carriers. These are the parts that help keep your tractor rolling. Carriers provide the foundation for wheel and tire movement. A carrier usually starts as a bearing and axle holder mounted to the chassis suspension, giving a mount point for the vehicles tire/wheel combination. Worn carriers result in poor steering and overall performance.
